"Those who know God the best are the richest and most powerful in prayer. Little acquaintance with God, and strangeness and coldness to Him, make prayer a rare and feeble thing."
Pastor Keith Allen Pintar
Formerly serving as Youth Pastor under Pastor Bob Coy at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale for a number
of years, Keith and his family were called to Colorado Springs, Colorado to minister as the Assistant
Pastor at Rocky Mountain Calvary Chapel. After several years
of ministry there, Keith responded to the
Lord's call to plant a Calvary Chapel in Jacksonville Beach, Florida in February 1999.
Pastor Keith faithfully continues to minister in the Calvary Chapel style - teaching the Word of God in a relevant, applicable way along with a strong emphasis on reaching the lost through various types of evangelism - including Contemporary Christian music. Keith, his wife Christy, and their three sons - Edward, Tyler, and Cody - continue to watch God as He blesses Calvary Chapel as an active and passionate body of believers filled with God's Spirit, who hunger and thirst for God's Word and a love for the lost.
CBN's 700 Club aired Pastor Keith's testimony in 2008, and Pastor Keith was given permission to put this on an evangelical DVD called "Glitter to Glory." This was done with the help of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale's Media Ministry and Calvary Chapel Jacksonville's Media/Audio Ministry.
Pastor Keith came from a background of drug and alcohol abuse as well as the seeking of fame and fortune through Rock and Roll. Many have found his testimony to be relatable, and a major catalyst in bringing the lost to Jesus Christ.
